Staff Biographies

Marian Burgess Owner
After opening a successful hair studio in 2003, I came to believe that in order to look your best, you must also feel your best. This is why I adopted Alpine Ridge Salon & Day Spa in May of 2008. I wanted to provide a resting place where you can come to rejuvenate, refuel, and be inspired. I specialize in creative hair coloring techniques that are tailored to give you exactly what you are looking for. Hair color has always been my passion. However, I understand that the entire package makes a person who they are. This is why I have provided specialized experts at Alpine Ridge to help you to achieve your best self. I've been in love with the beauty industry since 1995 because this is how I make people smile! I love it when they feel great about who they are. I know that true beauty comes from within and we all have so much potential.

Anne Dellinger Skin Therapist and Yoga instructor
Anne Dellinger was holistically trained in Esthetics on the island of Maui after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Physical/Outdoor Education. She returned to the Hawaiian Islands to obtain her Yoga Teacher Certification from the Shambhava School of Yoga in Kona. She fuses her love of nutrition, natural healing, stress management, and mind/body fitness into her work and lifestyle. In the treatment room, Anne embraces a holistic path to help clients achieve their skin care goals. Anne is known for her healing touch and gives an incredibly relaxing and nurturing facial. She also specializes in clinical resurfacing treatments, adult acne, and hyperpigmentation using the skin as a tool to greater understand internal imbalances.

Kammy Sweeney Hair Stylist
I am truly grateful for working and living in Evergreen.  I have been in the salon industry for over 20 years.  I am an independent business owner that loves my career and it shows through my continued success.  Alpine Ridge consists of very talented professionals and I am proud to be part of this amazing team.  I am grateful to be your hairstylist and more grateful for the friendships that continue to grow from it. :) 

Cindy Hendricks Hair Stylist
I have over 25 years in the salon industry 14 of those years as a previous salon owner. I came to work at Alpine Ridge Salon shortly after moving to Evergreen and love it. I specialize in hair cutting and coloring whether short, medium or long. Textured, blunt or layered. One color, highlights or multi coloring techniques. I will take the time to consult with you to determine what style will be best for you based on your hair type and texture , facial and body structure and your life style. I have been using Redken hair coloring products for over 20 years. I am very happy with the products and the education available through Redken. If you are considering color or making a change with your color please feel free to set up a consultation or an appointment with me so we may see what color will work best for you! Nicky Craggs Hair Stylist
Recently moved to Evergreen with my husband and 2 children we are enjoying the Colorado lifestyle and Evergreen Community. Before moving to the USA, for over 20 years, I owned two successful salons in the UK and during this time, trained a number of stylists to work with me. I thoroughly enjoy being creative and I am experienced in all aspects of hairdressing, especially coloring and creating an individual style and finish for all of my clients, young or old, women or men. I’m having a great time working at Alpine Ridge in the professional and friendly atmosphere and I'm looking forward to meeting future friends and clients. I have lived in Evergreen for 17 years, during that time I have raised two boys and owned a women's boutique as well as a hair salon. I came to Alpine Ridge in 2008 as an independent stylist that specializes in coloring techniques, perms, keratin straightening, and haircutting. I enjoy meeting and working with people of all ages, men and women. No matter what your hair texture or length I can help you with your cut, color, hair products, or styling which will enhance your natural beauty. Ali Michelin Nail Tech/Skin Specialist
I have lived in Evergeen for 13 years and even though I wasn't born here, I still call myself a Colorado native! I am proud to be the newest member of the Alpine Ridge Family and I'm hoping to expand the range of creativity in the salon and in my own work. I received a great education and I have experience in manicuring, pedicuring, conditioning treatments, acrylic and gel nail enhancements and many forms of nail art! I bring a new perspective to the salon and I'm eager to combine my ideas with yours! Kirstin Harper Massage therapist and Yoga Instructor
Kirstin Harper studied at the Ayurvedic Institute as well as the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeautics in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2003, she obtained her Yoga Teachers certification, and offers Ayurvedic lifestyle consultations. In 2004, Kirstin became a licensed Massage Therapist and Natural Therapeutic Specialist. Along with facilitating Yoga classes, Kirstin offers integrated bodywork treatments specializing in Core Synchronism, Polarity, and Deep Tissue. She has also been trained in modalities such as Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Reiki, and Prenatal. As life unfolds, Kirstin is honored to offer space for the journey of the ever-changing sensations of existence.

Rob Meek Massage
I graduated from Healing Spirits Massage Training Program in Boulder, Colorado. It was such a profound experience for me that I am now a teaching assistant there. I have a true passion for what I do and it really shows. I was honored by being voted runner-up BEST MASSAGE THERAPIST by Mountain Connection readers in 2007.
Each massage is custom tailored to your needs, whether it involves therapeutic deep tissue techniques, stretches to align your pelvis, or resistance movements to increase your range of motion. Of course, if you just want to relax and enjoy a soothing massage, I can do that as well. Prenatal and lymph drainage massages are also available. Massage involves your mind and energy as well as your body. I will help you optimize and integrate each of those areas. Philly Mendelson Yoga Instructor
Philly Mendelson, M.Ed., is a yoga teacher, healing foods coach and the creator of Rejuve4life! - Lifelong Fitness, Food and Health Classes. From choosing and preparing foods mindfully to living in harmony with nature, Philly teaches the simple practices that can profoundly change how you look and feel. A cancer survivor and student of yoga for more than 35 years, Philly is a passionate advocate for creating one's own health and has a zeal for helping others in their quest to optimize wellness on all levels.
Philly is a graduate of Boston University and Lesley College with dual master's degrees in Diet and Exercise therapy and Health Education. She has been studying natural health practices since the age of 17 when she first realized that food had a big influence on health. Ironically, Philly also spent 15 years as a professional pastry chef in New York City, Aspen, Boulder and Denver - where she was executive pastry chef for Jax Fish House and the Zolo grill. Philly won numerous awards for both her decadent and healthy "Sweetsmart" creations - including Best of Westword in 1995.
Philly is a certified Kundalini yoga teacher with over 400 hours of extensive study in Anusara yoga, having studied with some of the nation's top Anusara teachers, including John Friend, Madhuri Martin and Jamie Allison. She began her yoga studies in the 1970's with Iyengar yoga and then Bikram yoga. Today, she draws from the best of those styles and adds core conditioning exercises, breathing practices and gigong into her eclectic Yoga4life! classes.
As a healing foods coach, Philly has extensive experience with plant-based diets, and blends her knowledge of healing foods, with her love of cooking. Philly's Food4life! creative cooking classes are a great way to learn to incorporate rejuvenative, allergy-free foods into one's diet.
